The EVOOs must belong to the 2025\/26 harvest campaign and each candidate may submit a single sample per type of oil; i.e., different samples from the same company may be eligible, so long as they they correspond to different types of oils in terms of their commercial presentation (monovarietals, blends, organic, etc\u2026). Each of them must be registered separately.<br \/>The samples must be accompanied by a <strong>physiochemical analysis report<\/strong> carried out by a laboratory recognized by the International Olive Council (hereinafter IOC) or, alternatively, certified with the ISO 17025 standard, in which the following parameters should be specified: Acidity, peroxide value, K270 and K232.<br \/>The EVOOs submitted should come <strong>from a batch of less than 2,500 liters<\/strong>, stored at the oil-mill that sent them, with the volume of that batch properly specified in the inscription form.<br \/>The candidate must keep the EVOO in their facilities until at least 30 days after the closing of the competition\u2019s application period, as the organization may require a new sample within this period, in-person, so as to guarantee the origin of the oils submitted and verify the declared volume. The organizers will verify the accuracy of the submitted sample in competition by a guaranteed comparative analysis between the sample sent and the one taken from the oil mill. At least 10% of the samples selected for the TOP20 will be checked, chosen randomly before a licensed notary.<br \/>In the event of being unable to verify the origin of the sample by means of the authorized comparative system, the organizers reserve the right to remove the sample from the competition, informing the company that submitted it.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\" type=\"1\">\n<li><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>2.1. The online registration form must completed in its entirety via the <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.evooleum.com\/registration-form\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>REGISTRATION<\/strong><\/a><strong> section in the website <\/strong>and the participation fee for the competition. If you are going to register several samples, you must fill out a registration for each one of them.<br \/><strong>2.2. Once the registration form has been completed, the website will redirect you to pay the participation fee in the contest<\/strong>, which is set at 245 euros (taxes included) per sample submitted.<br \/><strong>2.3. The following materials must be sent by courier delivery to the address indicated below:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Signed report from the accredited laboratory with the results of the physical-chemical analysis referred to above in section 1<\/li>\n<li>Two 500 ml. (16.9 fl. oz.) samples. packaged in opaque glass (or can) of the same capacity, duly packed, of each participating olive oil. On the label of each sample, the reference that you have received when you complete the inscription has to be noted, that is, the same generated string of characters that will be shown at the time of online registration.<\/li>\n<li>Two bottles or packages -as sold in retail- of each sample submitted, so that the organization can use it in a promotional way if it is selected, as well as for this packaging to be assesed in the Best Packaging Awards section of the competition, and lastly, in order to take the necessary pictures for the Guide.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Therefore, the package sent must contain the bulletin and 4bottles per sample.<br \/>All of the above must be sent to:<br \/><strong>EVOOLEUM AWARDS LIMITED PRODUCTION<\/strong><br \/>EVOOLEUM Awards<br \/>REF.No: (Include the reference number assigned during the online registration).<br \/>Avda. The other two samples will remain in the care of the organizers; one will be used for the comparative test, if selected, and the other to determine the Global Quality Index in case of a tie.<br \/>The notary will remove the label with the assigned reference number and identify each bottle with a secret code, which will then be returned to the organization. The connection between the samples and the secret codes will be kept by the licensed notary and will not be known by any member of the organizing committee.<br \/>After the organoleptic assessment by the jury has been completed, the organizers will deliver the list of secret codes with the corresponding scores to the notary, and the notary will in turn give back a list of the original reference numbers alongside the assigned score for each sample, in a sealed envelope.<br \/>A prestigious international jury, following the International Olive Council\u2019s modified assessment sheet, will organoleptically evaluate the participating oils. The arithmetic mean of the total scores of all members of the jury shall be considered by removing the highest and lowest values, thus resulting in a final score of 0 to 100 points. This average shall be deemed with two decimal places.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\" type=\"1\">\n<li><strong>Awards<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Depending on the evaluation sheet of the jury, the <strong>20 EVOOs that have obtained the highest total score<\/strong> will be selected for the edition of the Guide, which will make up the <strong>EVOOLEUM TOP20 EVOOs of Limited Production.<\/strong><br \/>In the case that two or more oils obtain the same total score, with two decimal places of the average obtained as indicated, they will be ordered according to the Global Quality Index determined in the analysis.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\" type=\"1\">\n<li><strong>Jury<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The organizers will select those who, in their opinion, are the finest experts for the organoleptic assessment of the samples, forming a top-level, renowned jury. All samples will <a name=\"_GoBack\"><\/a>be tasted by a sufficient number of members of the jury.<br \/>The Award for Best Packaging will include a special jury formed by renowned professionals of the marketing and design industries, who will be in charge of evaluating the uniqueness and quality of the presentations.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"6\" type=\"1\">\n<li><strong>Registration Period<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>For producers inside the UE: The deadline for applying to EVOOLEUM and to receive the samples will close on <strong>March 10, 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For producers outside the UE: The deadline for applying EVOOLEUM and to receive the samples will close on <strong>March 10, 2026. The contestants who send their samples from countries that must be submitted to Customs, must especially consider the deadlines of these procedures so that the samples arrive at their destination on the indicated date.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The organization is not responsible for delays caused in transport, or customs inspections, nor will it be responsible for any customs expenses, or derived from transport. Consequently, the participation fee will not be reimbursed in case the samples do not arrive on the indicated date. Furthermore, EVOOLEUM is not responsible for loss of merchandise during transit or for breakages that must be replaced by the participant.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"7\" type=\"1\">\n<li><strong>Awards Ceremony<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The Awards ceremony will be held at the place indicated by the organization that, in any case, will be a European capital and in the context of a prestigious gastronomic event.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"8\" type=\"1\">\n<li><strong>Trophies and Diplomas<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The twenty EVOOs with the highest score awarded by the jury, <strong>EVOOLEUM&#8217;s TOP20 Limited Production EVOOs<\/strong>, will receive a commemorative trophy with the contest logo.<br \/>The winners will only be able to include the Award on the label of the packaging containing the batch to which the winning sample belongs, under the rules of graphic representation of the Award set by the organization. If this requirement is not met, the organization will prevent the participation of the offending company in successive editions, in addition to indicating the offence on the competiotion\u2019s website.<\/p>\n<p>9. <strong>Acceptance<br \/><\/strong><br \/>The participation in this call of the International Competition for the Quality of Extra Virgin Olive Oils, which is granted by the EVOOLEUM AWARDS, implies the acceptance of these conditions. The jury\u2019s decision is final and non-appealable, and participation in this competition implies the acceptance of said decision.<br \/>Likewise, the acceptance of these bases implies that the 20 selected oils will appear in the EVOOLEUM&#8217;s TOP20 Limited Production EVOOs section of the EVOOLEUM World&#8217;s TOP100 Extra Virgin Olive Oils Guide.<\/p>\n<p>10. <strong>EVOOLEM WORLD\u2019S TOP 100 EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OILS GUIDE<br \/><\/strong><br \/>The results of this extraordinary call will be published in the <strong>EVOOLEUM&#8217;s TOP20 Limited Production EVOOs section <\/strong>of the <strong>EVOOLEUM Guide<\/strong>, with the score obtained in the contest.<br \/>The EVOOLEUM Guide, published in English and Spanish in paper and digital format, will include a complete file on each of the 100 best oils in the contest and <strong>an annexed section with the 20 best EVOOs in the world of limited production (less than 2,500 l.),<\/strong> containing a photograph of the product, its organoleptic characteristics, the variety o varieties from which it is produced, the olive grove\u2019s geographic location, its marketable volume, its packaging and the producer\u2019s contact details (the company\u2019s website, headquarters, email and telephone). In addition, every sheet will include further information shown as icons regarding its certifications of quality or organic character, among others.<br \/>With the aim of having the EVOOLEUM Guide reach all those end consumers interested in the quality of extra virgin olive oil, it will be available at bookstores, department stores and specialized outlets, as well as in the Horeca channel.<br \/>Moreover, Mercacei and AEMO will distribute and promote the Guide at all the forums, competitions and national and international fairs in which both entities participate, especially those gastronomic and commercial events where the olive oil sector has a special impact. The other two samples will remain in the care of the organizers; one will be used for the comparative test, if selected, and the other to determine the Global Quality Index in case of a tie.<br \/>The notary will remove the label with the assigned reference number and identify each bottle with a secret code, which will then be returned to the organization. The connection between the samples and the secret codes will be kept by the licensed notary and will not be known by any member of the organizing committee.<br \/>After the organoleptic assessment by the jury has been completed, the organizers will deliver the list of secret codes with the corresponding scores to the notary, and the notary will in turn give back a list of the original reference numbers alongside the assigned score for each sample, in a sealed envelope.<br \/>A prestigious international jury, following the International Olive Council\u2019s modified assessment sheet, will organoleptically evaluate the participating oils. The arithmetic mean of the total scores of all members of the jury shall be considered by removing the highest and lowest values, thus resulting in a final score of 0 to 100 points. This average shall be deemed with two decimal places.<\/p>\n<ol type=\"1\" start=\"4\">\n<li><strong>Awards<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Depending on the evaluation sheet of the jury, the <strong>10 EVOOs that have obtained the highest total score<\/strong> will be selected for the edition of the Guide, which will make up the <strong>EVOOLEUM TOP10 EVOOs of Limited Production.<\/strong><br \/>In the case that two or more oils obtain the same total score, with two decimal places of the average obtained as indicated, they will be ordered according to the Global Quality Index determined in the analysis.<\/p>\n<ol type=\"1\" start=\"5\">\n<li><strong>Jury<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The organizers will select those who, in their opinion, are the finest experts for the organoleptic assessment of the samples, forming a top-level, renowned jury. The contestants who send their samples from countries that must be submitted to Customs, must especially consider the deadlines of these procedures so that the samples arrive at their destination on the indicated date.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The organization is not responsible for delays caused in transport, or customs inspections, nor will it be responsible for any customs expenses, or derived from transport. Consequently, the participation fee will not be reimbursed in case the samples do not arrive on the indicated date. CONCURSO<\/strong><\/p><ol><li><strong>Requisitos.<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p>Podr\u00e1n presentarse al concurso los aceites de oliva v\u00edrgenes extra (en adelante AOVEs) provenientes exclusivamente de productores individuales, asociaciones de productores y empresas productoras, siempre y cuando dichos aceites est\u00e9n registrados para su venta bajo una marca comercial. Los AOVEs deben pertenecer a la campa\u00f1a 2021\/2022 y cada candidato podr\u00e1 presentar una muestra por tipo de aceite que produzca; es decir, pueden optar al concurso distintas muestras de una misma empresa siempre que se correspondan con distintos tipos de aceites en lo que se refiere a su presentaci\u00f3n comercial (monovarietales, coupages, ecol\u00f3gicos, etc.), debiendo remitir una inscripci\u00f3n independiente por cada uno de ellos.<\/p><p>Las muestras deber\u00e1n acompa\u00f1arse del <strong>bolet\u00edn de an\u00e1lisis f\u00edsico-qu\u00edmico<\/strong> realizado por un laboratorio reconocido por el Consejo Ole\u00edcola Internacional (en adelante COI) o, en su defecto, certificado con la norma ISO 17025, en el que se deben especificar los siguientes par\u00e1metros: Acidez, \u00cdndice de Per\u00f3xidos, K270 y K232.<\/p><p>Los AOVEs presentados deber\u00e1n provenir de un lote con un <strong>volumen m\u00e1ximo de2.500 litros<\/strong>, almacenados en la almazara que los presente, debi\u00e9ndose se\u00f1alar en el formulario de inscripci\u00f3n el volumen de ese lote.<\/p><p>El candidato deber\u00e1 mantener el AOVE en sus instalaciones hasta al menos 30 d\u00edas despu\u00e9s del cierre de la convocatoria del concurso, ya que la organizaci\u00f3n podr\u00e1 requerirle en este plazo y de modo presencial una muestra para garantizar el origen de los aceites presentados y comprobar el volumen declarado. La organizaci\u00f3n comprobar\u00e1 la veracidad de la muestra presentada a concurso mediante un an\u00e1lisis comparativo de garant\u00eda entre la muestra enviada y la tomada en la almazara. Se comprobar\u00e1 al menos el 10% de las muestras que resulten seleccionadas en el TOP100, siendo elegidas de forma aleatoria por parte de un notario colegiado.<\/p><p>En caso de no verificarse el origen de la muestra por el sistema comparativo homologado, la organizaci\u00f3n se reserva el derecho de retirar la muestra del concurso, informando de ello a la empresa que la present\u00f3.<\/p><ol><li><strong>Forma de inscripci\u00f3n.<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p><strong>Seguir los siguientes pasos<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>2.1. Cumplimentar en su totalidad la ficha de inscripci\u00f3n electr\u00f3nica<\/strong> en <a href=\"https:\/\/www.evooleum.com\/ficha-de-inscripcion\/\"><strong>INSCRIPCIONES<\/strong><\/a> . Si va inscribir varias muestras deber\u00e1 rellenar una inscripci\u00f3n por cada una de ellas.<\/p><p><strong>2.2. Una vez cumplimentada la ficha de inscripci\u00f3n, el formulario le solicitar\u00e1 el abono de la cuota de participaci\u00f3n en el concurso<\/strong> que se establece en 195 euros (impuestos incluidos) por muestra presentada.<\/p><p><strong>2.3. En la etiqueta de cada muestra se anotar\u00e1 la referencia, es decir la misma cadena de caracteres generada que le ser\u00e1 mostrada en el momento de realizar la inscripci\u00f3n <em>on line<\/em>.<\/li><li><strong>Dos botellas o envases -tal y como se comercializa en el lineal- <\/strong>de cada muestra presentada, con el fin de que la organizaci\u00f3n pueda utilizarlo de forma promocional en caso de resultar seleccionado, y para que dicho envase sea valorado a efectos de su participaci\u00f3n en los Premios al Mejor Dise\u00f1o de Packaging, as\u00ed como para realizar las fotograf\u00edas oportunas para su aparici\u00f3n en la Gu\u00eda.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Por tanto, el paquete enviado deber\u00e1 contener el bolet\u00edn y 4 envases por muestra.<\/strong><\/p><p>Todo ello deber\u00e1 ser remitido a:<\/p><p><strong>Concurso EVOOLEUM AWARDS <\/strong><br \/>Ref.: (Introducir referencia que se le ha asignado en la inscripci\u00f3n electr\u00f3nica)<br \/>Avda. (de lunes a viernes)<\/p><ol><li><strong>Proceso de selecci\u00f3n y valoraci\u00f3n de las muestras.<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p>La organizaci\u00f3n del concurso, una vez finalizado el plazo de recepci\u00f3n de muestras, proceder\u00e1 a entregar dos botellas de cada aceite con su referencia a un notario colegiado. El notario eliminar\u00e1 la etiqueta con la referencia asignada por el concurso e identificar\u00e1 con una clave secreta cada botella, que ser\u00e1 devuelta a la organizaci\u00f3n. La correspondencia entre las muestras y las claves secretas ser\u00e1 custodiada por el notario y no ser\u00e1n conocidas por ning\u00fan miembro de la organizaci\u00f3n.<\/p><p>Tras la valoraci\u00f3n organol\u00e9ptica por parte del jurado, la organizaci\u00f3n entregar\u00e1 al notario el listado de las claves secretas con las puntuaciones correspondientes, y \u00e9ste devolver\u00e1 un listado de las referencias originales con la puntuaci\u00f3n asignada a cada una de ellas, todo ello en un sobre cerrado.<\/p><p>Los aceites candidatos ser\u00e1n valorados organol\u00e9pticamente por un jurado de reconocido prestigio siguiendo la hoja de valoraci\u00f3n del concurso basada en la utilizada por el COI para valoraci\u00f3n de aceites de calidad. Se considerar\u00e1 la media aritm\u00e9tica de las puntuaciones totales de los miembros del jurado eliminando el mayor y menor valor; as\u00ed resultar\u00e1 una puntuaci\u00f3n final de 0 a 100 puntos. Dicha media se considerar\u00e1 con dos decimales.<\/p><ol><li><strong>Premios.<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p>En funci\u00f3n de la hoja de valoraci\u00f3n del jurado se proceder\u00e1 a seleccionar para la edici\u00f3n de la Gu\u00eda los 10 aceites que hayan obtenido mayor puntuaci\u00f3n total, que conformar\u00e1n el <strong>EVOOLEUM TOP10 AOVEs de Producci\u00f3n Limitada<\/strong>.<\/p><p>En caso de que dos o m\u00e1s aceites obtengan la misma puntuaci\u00f3n total, con dos decimales de la media obtenida seg\u00fan se indica, se ordenar\u00e1n seg\u00fan el \u00cdndice Global de Calidad determinado en la anal\u00edtica.<\/p><ol><li><strong>Jurado.<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p>La organizaci\u00f3n seleccionar\u00e1 los que, a su juicio, son los mejores expertos para la valoraci\u00f3n organol\u00e9ptica de las muestras, que compondr\u00e1n un jurado de m\u00e1ximo nivel.<br \/>As\u00ed, formar\u00e1n parte del jurado del concurso expertos de reconocido prestigio.Los aceites ser\u00e1n catados siempre por un n\u00famero suficiente de miembros del jurado.<\/p><p>Los Premios al Mejor Dise\u00f1o de Packaging contar\u00e1n con un jurado especial formado por reputados profesionales del marketing y del dise\u00f1o, que se encargar\u00e1 de valorar la originalidad y calidad de las presentaciones.<\/p><ol><li><strong>Plazo de inscripci\u00f3n.<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p>El plazo de inscripci\u00f3n y recepci\u00f3n de muestras finalizar\u00e1 el <strong>30 de abril de 2022<\/strong>.<\/p><p>La organizaci\u00f3n no se responsabiliza de los retrasos ocasionados en el transporte, ni en inspecciones aduaneras, tampoco se har\u00e1 cargo de ning\u00fan gasto de aduanas, ni derivado del transporte. Por consiguiente, no se reintegrar\u00e1 la cuota de participaci\u00f3n en el caso de que las muestras no lleguen en la fecha indicada. Asimismo, EVOOLEUM no se hace cargo de p\u00e9rdidas de la mercanc\u00eda durante el tr\u00e1nsito ni de las roturas, que deber\u00e1n reponerse por el participante.<\/p><ol><li><strong>Entrega de Premios.<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p>La entrega de Premios se realizar\u00e1 en el lugar se\u00f1alado por la organizaci\u00f3n que, en todo caso, ser\u00e1 una capital europea.<\/p><ol><li><strong>Trofeos y diplomas.<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p>Los diez primeros clasificados, <strong>EVOOLEUM TOP10 AOVEs de Producci\u00f3n Limitada<\/strong>, recibir\u00e1n un trofeo conmemorativo del Premio con el logo del concurso.<\/p><p>Los ganadores \u00fanicamente podr\u00e1n hacer menci\u00f3n del Premio en la etiqueta de aquellos envases correspondientes al lote al que pertenezca la muestra ganadora, con arreglo a las normas de representaci\u00f3n gr\u00e1fica del Premio que establezca la organizaci\u00f3n. En caso de no cumplirse este requisito, la organizaci\u00f3n impedir\u00e1 la participaci\u00f3n de la empresa infractora en sucesivas ediciones, adem\u00e1s de indicarlo en la web del concurso.<\/p><ol start=\"9\"><li><strong>Aceptaci\u00f3n.<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p>La participaci\u00f3n en el Concurso Internacional a la Calidad de los Aceites de Oliva V\u00edrgenes Extra por el que se otorgan los EVOOLEUM AWARDS implica la aceptaci\u00f3n de las presentes bases. El fallo del jurado ser\u00e1 inapelable y no recurrible, comportando la participaci\u00f3n en este concurso la aceptaci\u00f3n de dicho fallo. Asimismo, la aceptaci\u00f3n de estas bases implica que los 10 aceites seleccionados aparecer\u00e1n en el apartado <strong>EVOOLEUM TOP10 AOVEs de Producci\u00f3n Limitada<\/strong>de la Gu\u00eda EVOOLEUM World\u2019s TOP100 Extra Virgin Olive Oils.<\/p><ol start=\"10\"><li><strong> Gu\u00eda EVOOLEUM WORLD\u2019S TOP100 EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OILS<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p>Los resultados de esta convocatoria extraordinaria se publicar\u00e1n en el apartado <strong>EVOOLEUM TOP10 AOVEs de Producci\u00f3n Limitada<\/strong> de la Gu\u00eda EVOOLEUM, con la puntuaci\u00f3n obtenida en el certamen.<\/p><p>La Gu\u00eda EVOOLEUM, editada en ingl\u00e9s y castellano en formato papel y digital, incluir\u00e1 una completa ficha de cada uno de los 100 mejores aceites del concurso <strong>y unasecci\u00f3n anexa con los 10 mejores AOVEs del mundo de producci\u00f3n limitada (menos de 2.500 l.)<\/strong>que comprender\u00e1 una fotograf\u00eda del producto, sus caracter\u00edsticas organol\u00e9pticas, la variedad o variedades de las que procede, la situaci\u00f3n geogr\u00e1fica del olivar, el volumen comercializable, el formato(s) del envase y los datos de contacto del productor (p\u00e1gina web de la empresa, domicilio social, e-mail y tel\u00e9fono). Adem\u00e1s, cada ficha incorporar\u00e1 informaci\u00f3n adicional ilustrada en forma de iconos acerca de las certificaciones de calidad o su car\u00e1cter ecol\u00f3gico, entre otros.<\/p><p>Con objeto de que la Gu\u00eda EVOOLEUM pueda llegar a todos aquellos consumidores finales interesados en la calidad del aceite de oliva virgen extra, se podr\u00e1 adquirir en librer\u00edas, grandes superficies y puntos de venta especializados, as\u00ed como en el canal Horeca. Asimismo, Mercacei y AEMO distribuir\u00e1n y promocionar\u00e1n la Gu\u00eda en todos aquellos foros, cert\u00e1menes y ferias nacionales e internaciones en los que participen ambas entidades, especialmente en aquellos eventos gastron\u00f3micos y comerciales donde tenga especial protagonismo el sector ole\u00edcola.
