EVOOLEUM GALA
EVOOLEUM annually organizes an EVOOLEUM Awards gala, the last edition of which took place in the modern Espacio Rastro in Madrid, in an exclusive event hosted by TVE news presenter Marta Jaumandreu.
A unique and exclusive event that was attended by the Spanish Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Luis Planas, as well as national and international producers from countries such as Italy, Portugal, Greece, South Africa, Croatia, Brazil and China. At this Gala, which once again reclaimed itself as the great world extra virgin festival, the EVOOLEUM Best of Class Awards and the EVOO Ambassador Awards were presented to the Olympic medalist and MasterChef Celebrity winner Saúl Craviotto and the famous three-star chef Quique Dacosta.
The event, sponsored by CaixaBank; the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA), through Foods of Spain; the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development of the Junta de Andalucía; Caja Rural de Jaén, Barcelona and Madrid; Pieralisi, Kubota; Male Group; Ayrtac; and Autelec Tecnología, brought together a wide representation of the olive and olive sector, both national and international, as well as gastronomic journalists and chefs from the Madrid scene.
At this Gala, the EVOOLEUM Awards were presented to the Best of Each Category, as well as the TOP20 Limited Production EVOO Awards (for small producers), the awards for the best packaging designs (EVOOLEUM Packaging Awards); and the TOP10 of the healthiest EVOOs in the world. Without forgetting the Awards for Best Female Producer and Best Mill Master, which went to Consoli Molero, mill master, manager and production manager of the Valdepeñas Olivarera Cooperative (COLIVAL).
