EVOOLEUM GALA

EVOOLEUM annually organizes an EVOOLEUM Awards gala, the last edition of which took place in the modern Espacio Rastro in Madrid, in an exclusive event hosted by LaSexta Noticias presenter Cristina Villanueva.

The event was inaugurated by the Spanish Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Luis Planas, and was attended by prominent international producers from countries such as Italy, Brazil, Croatia, Lebanon, Israel and China. In this edition, the EVOOLEUM ABSOLUTE BEST – the best extra virgin in the world- went to the South African EVOO De Rustica Estate Collection Coratina; while the EVOO Ambassador Awards were awarded to the comedian Joaquín Reyes and the chef and partner of Grupo La Ancha Nino Redruello.

The event, sponsored by CaixaBank, Kubota, Pieralisi, Grupo Macho and Caja Rural de Jaén, Barcelona and Madrid, brought together a wide international representation of the olive oil sector, as well as gastronomic journalists, chefs and influencers. At this Gala, the EVOOLEUM Best of Each Category Awards were presented, as well as the TOP10 EVOO Limited Production Awards -less than 2,500 liters annually-, the awards for the best packaging designs (EVOOLEUM Packaging Awards); and the TOP10 Healthiest EVOOs in the world. Without forgetting the Best Female Producer Award, which aims to highlight the important role that women play in the production of extra virgin olive oil around the world.
